ACE RULES

Rosters- Set at 19 players, no position requirements. Start 1QB, 2 RB, 3WR, 1Def, and one optional RB or WR. If you do not have a def available for the week it will cost you -10 points.

Head-to-Head league ties broken by higher total bench points

Salary Cap = $200. Max salary monies available. Max salary for any player is $30.00, Min salary is $5.00. All bids must be even dollars.

Bonus cap = $100. This is the max you can total on bonus money.

Examples: I bid 3 yrs at $20.00 salary and $50.00 bonus for Phil. Total bid value is 3 times 20 (salary) plus 50 (bonus dollars) equaling $110.00. I have now spent $20 of my $200 salary money and $50 of my $100 bonus money on a guy who can’t run the fly pattern. I can cut Phil anytime and recover my $20.00 salary but the $50.00 bonus counts against me for the three year life of the contract. The only way to remove the bonus from your total is to trade Phil at which time the new team will absorb the bonus cost…

Example 2: Eric bids 2 yrs at $30.00 salary and $40.00 bonus for Mike. Total bid value is 2 times 30 (salary) plus 40 (bonus dollars) for a total of $100 bid value. Eric realizes Mike can only throw the deep fly so he cuts him and saves his $30.00 salary but still is responsible for the $40.00 bonus for two years.

Final example: The bid is 3 years at $30.00 and all $100.00 bonus money. Total is 3 x 30 + 100 = $190.00 total bid value. This is the max that can be bid on any player. Foolish but possible.

Contracts are for 1, 2, or 3 years. PLAYERS CUT DURING THE SEASON ONLY CLEAR A ROSTER SPOT, YOU DO NOT CLEAR THE SALARY UNTIL THE NEXT YEAR.

ALL bids are done highest to lowest. You con not sort your list any other way, bid high on who you like. Nor can you say if I get player A, and B then skip C and D and give me players E through H.

Trades - Trades can be executed from March 1st through week 9 of the season. Trading future rookie picks is allowed if you chose to PAY NEXT YEARS FEES IN ADVANCE. This ensures that a team that trades its future away will not drop out of the league the following year.

Rookie draft - worst to first every round. Bid scale for rookies is pre-set at:

1 & 2 = $40

3 & 4 = $30

5 & 6 = $24

7 & 8 = $21

9 & 10 = $18

All others = $15

For example 1st and 2nd rookie picks salaries could be any of these variations 3 years $20=$60 or 3 years $15 + $15 bonus = $60. Rookies can be signed to 1, 2 or 3 year contracts. Team A can decide to pass on their rookie pick with the next team then on the clock and team A loses rookie pick. The next team then on the clock doesn't get penalized by moving up they stay at their original draft position and price.

Free agents - Allowed 2 total for the year, if you are under the cap, from week 1 thru week 13. Worst to first bidding system by record second tie breaker total points. Expiring contracts- If you use the 1 year franchise on an expiring contract the players salary will be the average of the top three salaries at that position or the current players salary, whichever is greater. In addition there will be an extra $20 added to the existing bonus money in the first year and $30 added to that bonus each year after. You will be able to franchise one player per team. You can franchise them AFTER you make your roster cuts. Thus money for the tag will be available.

   Salary rules as before --- Salary will be the average of the top 3 players at that position (or current salary, whichever is higher)...

            2020 3 X 16 + 25
            2021 3 X 16 + 55 AVERAGE SALARY FOR QB’s STAY THE SAME

Trades can be executed from March 15th through week 9 of the season.

March 16 - 22nd week to cut players from roster and franchise one player

Free agents off season. All players not on a roster will be available for bid during the following dates:

April 1-6. All QB, Def

April 7-13. All WR.

April 13-19. All RB.

April 20-25. Open bids on any remaining players.

Last week of August will be the week to fill your roster in case of injuries, cuts, etc. All rosters must be at 19 players by Sept. 1…

Weekly starters--
         If you have any trouble with the site call in or e-mail your starters 949-2298 tooski@gmail.com and 949-7046 esschremp@gmail.com   Thurs and Sat players must be turned in prior to kickoff.
         Rosters are due before the games start on Sunday.
         If you don't have a defense to play or play one on bye it's -10 points.
         If you neglect submitting your roster two weeks in a row, find a new league next year.
